Pregnant women can travel by air without a medical certificate up to the end of the 26th week of pregnancy (0- 26th week), as long as the pregnancy is not complicated.

After the 26th week and up to the end of the 32nd week of pregnancy (27th- 32nd), you must have with you a medical certificate (in English for international flights and in Greek or English for domestic flights) from a gynecologist or midwife where reference is made to:

  • the smooth progression of the pregnancy
  • the possible date of delivery and the week of the pregnancy the woman is in during the flight
  • the statement of the gynecologist that the pregnancy of the passenger does not prohibit her from travelling by air

Finally, from the 33rd week of the pregnancy and beyond, you are not permitted to travel.
