Ellinair to resume flights to Thessaloniki and Heraklion from Athens and to launch new direct flights to several German cities from Thessaloniki and Heraklion.

 

On Tuesday 22 March the airline Ellinair, part of the holding company Mouzenidis Group, will officially resume flights Athens-Thessaloniki in its regular flight program. The flights will be carried out on an aircraft Airbus A319 four times a week until 16 April and on a daily basis from 17 April.

On 8 May, Ellinair will add the route Athens – Heraklion to its regular flight program, with the frequency of 2 times a week in May and three times a week starting from June – on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Simultaneously, Ellinair will add new direct flights connecting Makedonia International Airport of Thessaloniki, the airline’s hub in Northern Greece, with international airports in six German cities, which will be carried out in summer. The new destinations include Berlin, Munich, Leipzig, Hannover, Stuttgart and Cologne. The flights will vary in frequency and operation periods. Direct flights Stuttgart-Heraklion will be carried out on Wednesdays from 10 August till 7 September.

The airline Ellinair is considering further network expansion in the new tourist season, which will be announced in the coming months.
